Shoes are the best boyfriends. They always give you support, always look fabulous, and really don't care if you have more than one!
This blog is for shoes we love. In addition to pictures, we'll hopefully be providing links to where you can find said shoes, as well as info on cost.
We now have a Tag Index so you can find posts featuring your favorite designer, shoe type, or FYAS feature!
Anastasia Radevich latest shoe, a rather dynamic and dramatic design for a shoe. Although I’m a person who prefers practicality, this shoe definitely make a statement with it’s crackled 3-D typography. Well, Radevich actually designed this shoe to bring attention to the tar sand mining operation going on in Canada which could cause irreversible damage to our climate. Read more about the Tar Sands of Alberta and their effects here. A rather unusual yet interesting way to bring about a message, I’m inspired by her creativity. Who’d ever thought shoes could cause an impact, and words could make such a great platform!
Anastasia Radevich always has the most out-there ideas, but they’re SO inspiring! See more photos and information at Luxirare.

Does it surprise you that these daring heels are Christian Louboutin? It doesn’t surprise me one bit! Although, I would be horrified if I stepped on anyone’s foot.

“Get a pair of shoes from Shoes Shoes Shoes and get a free man!”
No, we couldn’t make this up — this is the actual slogan of a new “Shoe Dating” marketing campaign from Shoes Shoes Shoes, a store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The store has teamed up with a dating website to pair shoe-obsessed women with men who will pay for for their purchases, in exchange for a date.

I’m. Not sure how to feel about this. But… wait, did you say he was paying for part of my shoe purchase? I’M IN.
These daring pinup shoes are made by The Tattoo Shoe on Etsy. A pair of these runs about USD $189.99, but they’re handpainted by the artist!

Modeled by Lina Zhang on the runway at the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 Ready To Wear show, these delicate platforms look like Spring! They remind me of teacups and porcelain statues.

Esperanza architectural cut out wedges. Yummy fashionable heels!
Yes please! That salmon pink has got to be one of my favorite colors! Esperanza is a Japanese shoe designer, so it can take some finagling to get your feet in a pair (unless you live in Japan!) They seem to run about Euro 100€ price-wise from what I can tell. Although it’s mostly in Japanese, check out the Esperanza Web Store.

…Today’s shoes are Amaranti
Shoemanic made a great post about getting in shape and Vogue… but check out those shoes! I’m jealous of your workout gear!
The shoes in question are creations by Amaranti. Made in Italy, these sweet blue pointy-toe pumps are covetous!
Where did you get them from? It’s difficult to find them online, and Amaranti is such a specialty brand.

Herpderp, I know this is shameless self-promotion. - OP
This is a pair of size 8.5 pumps by Predictions— they started out as plain patent black pumps, and then I went wild on them!
The shoes come with extra padding— there are heel comfort pads as well as a gel insert at the toe. They’re 3 inch heels, no platform. They’ve had tissue paper glazed onto them, and have been painted with acrylics and finished with green sequins along the edge, heel, and vamp.
Finished with a semi-gloss polyurethane topcoat, these shoes shouldn’t crack and will resist water and wear. Of course, you shouldn’t wear them hiking or to the beach, but they’re more than prepared for a night out (St. Patrick’s Day, anyone?). The shoes were cleaned before customization, and have been test worn once since finishing and then cleaned again. They come from a home with pets, but have been kept in an airtight container since finished, and will be kept as such until shipped.
This one-of-a-kind custom pair of shoes is ready to take your wardrobe to the next level!
One pair available for USD $50.00 (US Shipping only) at Sabba’s Salmagundi on Etsy.
